Reopening of Central FootClinic
Here at Central FootClinic, we’re reopening our clinics in order to help those most in need of face to face treatment. This means our clinics will be reopen at our main treatment and rehabilitation centre in Spondon, Derby.
Working Safely and Appropriately
To be able to reopen and ensure we are working safely and appropriately, we have introduced a comprehensive range of safety measures. These safety measures will create a secure clinic environment and help manage the risks of Covid-19 (please watch the video above for full details).
Firstly, and strictly adhering to Covid Secure guidelines, we have introduced the following:
- Hand sanitiser stations
- Clear 2 metre social distancing floor markings
- A one way system
- Covid-19 information posters
- The use of appropriate PPE equipment
- Daily health checks for all of our team, including the use of a temperature checker
We have also:
- Staggered appointment times
- Rearranged spacing in our treatment rooms
- Closed all use of toilets
- Implemented new and vigorous cleaning regimes
- Restructured our waiting room for essential use on a socially distanced and limited basis
Further to those safety procedures, should you require face to face treatment your visit to Central FootClinic will involve:
- Being asked to wait in your car until welcomed by your clinician
- Being asked to wear a face covering
- Being asked to sanitise your hands
- Being asked to take a temperature check before entering the clinic
- Being shown directly to your treatment room
More Information
Please expect to see your clinician wearing PPE equipment. This is for everyone’s safety and not to cause alarm.
Once in your treatment room, all assessments will be carried out on a socially distanced basis.
Any required hands on treatment will then be provided in the safest manner possible for both you the patient and your clinician.
You will notice your clinician undertaking constant cleaning procedures. These will take place before, during and after your appointment.
A summary of the treatment provided and advice for the on-going management of your condition will then be discussed at a safe distance with your clinician.
At the end of your appointment, you will be shown safely out of the clinic via a one way system to avoid any unnecessary contact with other individuals.
Whilst we have implemented this comprehensive range of safety measures, we ask all of our patients to play their part in keeping our clinics Covid secure.
Please do not attend clinic if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.
If you are experiencing symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate, simply call us and we’ll be happy to rearrange your appointment. We can always offer you telephone and online appointments until it is safe for you to receive face to face treatment again.
Please do act upon on all requests made by members of the Central FootClinic team when at the clinic.
Please be considerate and help us to create the safest possible environment where those most in need can once again have access to face to face treatment.
We want you to be confident when visiting us. Confident that you will receive the right treatment – and confident the treatment will be delivered in a safe setting.
So, if you are experiencing pain relating to a long-term condition or recent injury, please do not hesitate to contact us and book an appointment.
Be assured, the safety of our patients, and that of all of the team here at Central FootClinic, is our top priority at this time.
