Video and Telephone Physiotherapy Consultations

Due to the Coronavirus crisis and the vital need to follow all social distancing advice strictly , Central Physio is now offering video and telephone physiotherapy consultations.

These consultations have been introduced to ensure existing and new patients can continue to access expert physiotherapy advice and support to help manage a wide range of painful conditions.

During an initial video or telephone physiotherapy consultation, your physiotherapist will:

Conduct a verbal assessment and take a full history of your complaint to help define a precise diagnosis

During a video consultation, your physiotherapist will view your problem, assess movement and request specific functional tests

Discuss and plan a self-management recovery strategy

Provide video exercise programmes targeting speedy recovery

Enhance overall recovery and resolution of your problem

At any follow up video or telephone physiotherapy consultation, your physiotherapist will:

Conduct a review of symptom behaviour

Review movement and test positions

Review and progress your rehabilitation and recovery strategy

Review prescribed exercise progression

These appointments are available to non-insured and insured patients. If you do have healthcare insurance, please check with your insurer for authorisation, or contact us to discuss further.

Video or telephone physiotherapy consultations are priced at:

Initial Consultation: £30

Follow Up Consultation: £25

Technology wise for video consultations, things are very simple. You will need access to a laptop with a camera, or a smart phone or tablet. A conferencing app such as Zoom will be required, and we will send you a link and log in details ahead of your appointment time. Your Physiotherapist will be happy to help you with any set up issues should you encounter them.
