It’s great to have Sports Massage Therapist, Jess Beaver here at Central Health, and here’s what she told us when she joined the team.
“Hey there, I’m Jess, one of the Sports Massage Therapists at Central Health in Derby.
“I’ve been a personal trainer since 2015 and love seeing people hit their goals and get what they want out of life, so seeing people with injuries and niggles holding them back made me really want to focus on learning more to help out more.
“So I qualified as a Sports Therapist with Massage in 2019, and in 2021 gained my Strength and Conditioning Coach qualification too.
“I am always up for learning more, developing techniques (and sticking with the basics when needed) to make sure my clients leave feeling better than when they came in and knowing they have progressed a little further. I also believe in educating why we do something and not just doing it.
“When I am not working I enjoy being outdoors discovering new places to explore, watching football, rugby and the superbowl, as well as walking my dog Luis! I like to chill out with a good book or music, spend time with those I love, and keep life lively with a good laugh and smile.
