What Causes Arthritis & Joint Pain?

Your doctor or physiotherapist will start by accurately diagnosing the cause of your joint pain. It could be caused by factors such as a direct injury, an infection, a ligament injury or a tendon injury. Your pain could also be caused by arthritis, which occurs when joints become worn over time.
