Central Health Network has launched a new private GP service, Central Private GP serving Derby.
Serving Derby, Nottingham, and surrounding areas, this new service allows anyone to book an appointment with a GP at a time to suit them and without having to wait.
With patients sometimes finding it difficult now to book appointments at GP surgeries to see their own doctor, due to the NHS working through a backlog created by the coronavirus pandemic, the launch of Central Private GP is both timely and intended to give people who can’t or do not wish to wait for appointments a convenient alternative.
Appointments at Central Private GP will be face-to-face with experienced GPs and they will last for 30 minutes to give enough time for all health issues and symptoms to be fully investigated and appropriate care delivered.
Patients visiting Central Private GP can expect to receive expert care based on their individual needs, and they will also find all of the services available that they’re familiar with receiving at an NHS GP. Central Health GPs can also conduct minor investigations, issue prescriptions and refer patients to appropriate specialist care if required.
Patients will also have the option of having their regular NHS GP kept completely informed of their visits to Central Private GP.
Central Private GP will be based in Spondon, offer free parking and provide immediate, and even same day, face to face appointments. Telephone appointments are also available if patients prefer and may be used for any follow up appointments when appropriate.
This latest healthcare service launch comes at a time when Central Health Network continues to expand across the UK. Central Private GP will add to the company’s already successful portfolio of healthcare services which include private physiotherapy, podiatry and osteopathy treatments, corporate occupational health services and also first contact practitioner services provided in primary care settings such as GP surgeries. Central Health Network is also an approved provider of NHS physiotherapy services.
